Aaron Cabeen, Owner/CEO of Lucille Studio
Aaron Cabeen’s journey started with a pickup truck, a passion for authentic materials, and a
dream to do things differently. Growing up, he spent summers building alongside his dad and
brother, learning the craft of construction and developing a deep love for hardwoods and
hands-on work. This foundation led him to create Cabeen Architectural Millwork, transforming it
from a scrappy one-man shop into a premier fabrication company specializing in custom wood,
metal, glass, and upholstery designs.
After years of creating bespoke interiors for restaurants, hotels, and more, Aaron launched
Lucille Studio as a tribute to his late mother, Lucille, a creative force who inspired his bold,
collaborative spirit. At Lucille Studio, Aaron designs 3D interlocking tiles for walls, ceilings, and
floors—pieces that are as daring and imaginative as they are functional.
Named in his mother’s honor, Lucille Studio is built on her values: creativity, resilience, and
freedom of expression. Aaron combines his deep craftsmanship with a love for collaboration,
creating unique, customizable designs that bring his clients’ visions to life. Whether working with
wood, metal, or glass, Aaron continues to redefine what’s possible in architectural design.

Lucille was orphaned at the tender age of 8, but it was through this adversity that her strength emerged, shaped by the values of her Cherokee heritage. Her quiet yet powerful presence was the embodiment of the Cherokee belief in connection to the land, art, and the power of storytelling. Though reserved, Lucille’s spirit came alive when surrounded by her children and nature—reminding them to dream big, just as her ancestors did, and to see the beauty in the world's details.
Her son Aaron, the youngest of four, remembers her as a nurturing figure and a lover of the unique, guided by the Cherokee tradition of honoring individuality. Lucille was drawn to eclectic artists and had a deep passion for music and creativity. She believed in the freedom to express oneself, much like the boundless art forms that define her cultural roots.
Today, Lucille exists as a tribute to that same spirit of resilience and limitless possibility.
